Just use a hole saw to drill a 2-1/2″ hole in the bottom and insert the light base. It can be glued into the gourd with wood glue if desired. Paintable using any water based paint. Easy to clip light cord into base, slot on side allows for cord to be inserted and held in place. Also great to use as a base for gourds that do not sit flat.
